Mountain Peak Moss Collar

A handmade paracord collar for those who want a clear, structured, and natural look — inspired by the lines of a landscape building up to a mountain peak.

The Mountain Peak Moss Collar is a handmade paracord dog collar with a distinct and balanced pattern. The braid builds up in diamond-shaped structures, giving the collar depth, rhythm, and a sophisticated look.

The colors in Moss give the collar a calm and earthy feel, inspired by nature's green tones and soft transitions. The look feels natural and stable, while the distinct braid adds character.

This paracord collar is pictured with a martingale design, offering a simple and functional solution for daily use. The collar is braided by hand, one by one, and small variations in braid, colors, and details make each collar unique — just like the dogs that wear them.

Collar width: approx. 4 cm

Perfect for those who want:

  • a handmade paracord collar for dogs

  • a collar with clear structure and a distinct pattern

  • a wider dog collar with good shape and balance

  • a paracord collar with natural moss tones

  • a collar pictured with a martingale for daily use

  • a dog collar that stands out without being busy

  • a personalized dog collar custom-made in Norway

Why it works well in everyday life

Clear and structured look
The Mountain Peak braid builds up in a diamond-shaped pattern, giving the collar depth, rhythm, and a more distinct look than a simple everyday collar.

Hand-braided paracord
The collar is hand-braided in paracord. This provides structure, character, and a more personal touch than mass-produced dog equipment.

Natural moss tones
The colors in Moss give a calm and earthy look inspired by nature. This makes the collar easy to combine with both neutral and more colorful leashes.

Wider model
With a width of approx. 4 cm, the collar has a clear visual presence and a good shape around the dog's neck.

Made to order
Each collar is handmade after you order. This means small variations may occur — and your collar won't be exactly like everyone else's.

About the Mountain Peak braid

The Mountain Peak braid features a clear, layered pattern that converges towards the center — inspired by the lines of a landscape building up to a mountain peak.

The pattern gives the collar structure, depth, and a natural rhythm in the design. The result is a stable and balanced paracord collar with good form and a distinct, yet calm, look.

About martingale collars

This collar is pictured with a martingale. A martingale can be a simple and functional solution for daily use when the collar is properly fitted to the dog.

A martingale collar should not tighten excessively. When fully tightened, it should still sit securely and controlled without unnecessary pressure around the dog's neck.

If you are unsure about the size or fit, you can write your dog's neck measurement in the comment field when ordering — and we will help you double-check before making the collar.

How to choose the right size

Measure your dog's neck where the collar usually sits. Use a soft tape measure and measure snugly against the neck, but without tightening.

If you choose a martingale, it is especially important that the collar is fitted correctly. It should be able to slide over the head, but also not be too loose around the neck when in use.

As a general rule, you should be able to fit approximately two fingers between the collar and the dog's neck when it is on.

If the dog is between two sizes, we recommend choosing the size where the neck measurement falls most centrally within the adjustment range, or including the neck and head measurements in the comment field when ordering.

Important information about use

This collar is designed for normal everyday use, walks, and moderate strain.

If you have a dog that pulls strongly, jerks a lot, or can gain high speed before the strain comes, we recommend using a harness as the primary attachment and the collar for ID or personal equipment.

Always check collars, leashes, and attachment points regularly for wear.

Maintenance

Allow the collar to air dry if it gets wet.

Avoid leaving the collar damp for extended periods. Regularly check the braid, rings, and attachment points, especially if the dog wears the collar frequently.

If necessary, superficial dirt can be gently removed with a damp cloth.

Production and delivery

This product is made to order. Normal production time is 3–5 business days before the product is shipped from us.

Because the collar is hand-braided, small variations in braid, colors, and appearance may occur. This is a natural part of the handmade character.

How to choose the right collar

How to measure your dog's neck?

Read how to measure your dog's neck size in our size guide here.

Paracord and texture

Different types of paracord provide different feel, flexibility, and visual weight. Some varieties feel softer and lighter, others more compact and robust. The choice affects both the look and how the collar feels to use.

Braiding Techniques

The braid determines more than just the appearance. Different braiding techniques result in varying width, structure, and shape retention. Some braids provide a tighter, more minimalistic look, while others create more depth and a more distinct character.

Adaptation in practice

When the collar is custom-made, details such as color combination, braiding, and personalization can be combined to create a whole that fits your dog perfectly – both visually and functionally.
