About Layered

Layered is inspired by the strata found in nature — lines, levels, and structures that build up over time.

On this collar, paracord is braided around the base in distinct layers. This creates depth and rhythm in the design, while maintaining a clean and balanced form for the collar.

How to choose the right size

Measure your dog's neck where the collar usually sits. Use a soft measuring tape and measure snugly against the neck, but without tightening.

As a general rule, you should be able to fit approximately two fingers between the collar and your dog's neck when it's on.

If your dog is between two sizes, we recommend choosing the size where the neck measurement falls as close as possible to the middle of the adjustment range.

If you are unsure about the size, you can write your dog's neck measurement in the comment field when ordering — and we will help you double-check before we make the collar.

Important information about use

This collar is designed for normal everyday use, walks, and normal strain.

If you have a dog that pulls strongly, jerks frequently, or can gain high speed before the strain comes, we recommend using a harness as the main attachment point and the collar for ID or personal gear.

Always check the collar, leash, and attachment points regularly for wear and tear.

Maintenance

Wipe the collar with a damp cloth as needed. The Pawtex base makes it easy to remove dirt, moisture, and mud after a walk.

Allow the collar to air dry if it gets wet. Avoid leaving it damp for extended periods, and regularly check the buckle, holes, braid, and attachment points with active use.

Production and delivery

This product is made to order. Normal production time is 3–5 business days before the product is shipped from us.

Because the collar is handmade, small variations in braiding and appearance may occur. This is a natural part of the handmade character.
