Nordlys Ly is a handmade paracord collar with a calm and vibrant expression. The colors are layered in the braid, creating an expression that feels both still and in motion – soft, yet with clear character.

The collar is hand-braided in the colors from the Nordlys collection. Slight variations in the braid and colors make each collar unique and allow for details that add depth and personality.

About the braid

The braid has a wide and distinct structure, giving the collar good shape and a clear expression. The structure provides a steady feel, while the braid is soft and comfortable to use.

Nordlys is inspired by those moments when you and your dog pause and look up. The sky is in motion, the light shifts in silent waves, and the contrast between the darkness and the colors makes everything around you clearer.

A single strand of Paracord Type 3 has a stated breaking strength of approx. 247 kg. The collar is braided from multiple strands, providing good durability with normal use.

The collar comes with a plastic buckle and D-ring, sized to fit the width of the braid, unless otherwise specified.
